The language of football - Documentary
Football is more than just a game; it is also a tool for children to communicate even if they do not speak the same language – it is the language of football. No matter where you are from, which background, rich or poor, anyone can play football and have fun.
The documentary follows five children from five out of the twelve teams that qualified to go to the MTG United for Peace Cup in Oslo in October 2011. These children represent Ghana, Russia, Bulgaria, Sweden and Denmark. The documentary shows how the work of MTG United for Peace touches their lives through football; teaching them about peace, tolerance, cultural understanding, fair play and friendship. The documentary also gives an insight into the children’s lives, their reflections and how the experience of participating in MTG United for Peace has influenced them.
