Moving the goal posts into the future
With the reach of our broadcast network and a large portion of goodwill, the sky is the limit.
We are grateful that MTG United for Peace is working so well and for 2011 there will be 13 countries taking part in total, one more than last year, since Ukraine will also join the tournament. The foundations are now in place, but we must tread carefully. We don’t want to move to quickly, too fast. It’s to precious for that. We welcome two kinds of sponsors; central sponsors and local sponsors. The local tournament is promoted through the MTG channels available in the countries; Free-TV, Pay-TV and Radio.
The fundraising events are one important way to raise money for MTG United for Peace. The raised funds are used for projects for children in the countries where we do business, and not used to run MTG United for Peace. With the right kind of sponsors and enough fund raising our goal is to try and expand this concept to include football schools for children in different countries.
